Ba tôi được bệnh viện xác định bị khối u phổi, di căn lên não (bị nhức đầu dữ dội), BS ở đây chỉ định mổ khối u hẹn ngày 7-4-2009 lên xạ trị khối u phổi. Nhưng hiện thời ba tôi bị động kinh và liệt nửa người phải nhập viện lại.
Xin các BS vui lòng cho tôi được hỏi như sau: 1. Với bệnh tình như thế có khả năng chữa trị được không? 2. Nếu không thì khả năng sống được bao lâu?
Ung thư phổi là ung thư có khả năng di căn lên não khá nhiều. Đôi khi bệnh nhân nhập viện vì chẩn đoán bướu não nhưng sau đó các bác sĩ tìm được tổn thương nguyên phát ở phổi.
Khi bệnh đã di căn thì khả năng chữa khỏi gần như không thể. Thời gian sống thêm trung bình 6 tháng đến 1 năm. Những con số này chỉ có giá trị tham khảo bởi thời gian sống thêm tùy thuộc nhiều yếu tố: tình trạng sức khỏe, tình trạng dinh dưỡng, tình trạng căn bệnh ung thư, những triệu chứng bất lợi do ung thư gây ra, sự đáp ứng các phương pháp điều trị...
Nếu tình trạng diễn tiến không thuận lợi, thời gian sống thêm của bệnh nhân thậm chí ngắn hơn. Còn ngược lại diễn tiến thuận lợi vẫn có khả năng bệnh nhân sống trên một năm. Chỉ có bác sĩ trực tiếp chăm sóc và theo dõi quá trình diễn tiến của bệnh mới có thể trả lời cụ thể và gần đúng câu hỏi thứ hai của anh.
* Mẹ tôi 47 tuổi, phát hiện mắc bệnh ung thư cổ tử cung giai đoạn 2B năm 2006, đã xạ trị 30 tia cùng năm. Đến tháng 4-2008 bệnh tái phát, ăn lan bọng đái và trực tràng. Từ tháng 7 đến tháng 10-2008 mẹ tôi đã hóa trị được bốn đợt thuốc. Nhưng sau đó sức khỏe mẹ tôi kém nhiều do sốt nhiễm trùng, nằm viện điều trị một tháng rưỡ imà không hết. Các bác sĩ khuyên đưa bà về trong tình trạng ngủ li bì, sức khỏe kém không đi lại được, với thông báo ung thư cổ tử cung di căn gan và phổi.
Sau khi về nhà mẹ tôi khỏe hẳn ra. Bà đi lại, ăn uống khá lên rất nhiều, không ho, không nôn ói. Đến tháng 2-2009 mẹ tôi có yếu đi và bị xuất huyết (máu đỏ bầm và đỏ tươi), nhưng sau hai ngày lại không thấy nữa. Sau đó bụng bị to nhưng mềm. Ngày 18-3-2009 mẹ tôi bị xuất huyết lần hai rất nhiều, máu đỏ bầm và đỏ tươi, cơ thể tái nhợt, xuống sức rõ rệt.
Xin hỏi: tình trạng xuất huyết của mẹ tôi là như thế nào, do đâu mà có, có lợi hay hại? Bụng to và nôn ói là do ung thư di căn gan? Thuốc FLORASTOR 50mg có phải là thuốc trị ung thư không, công dụng thế nào? Trường hợp mẹ tôi dùng Florastor 50mg ngày 3 lần mỗi lần 1 viên thì có tác dụng chữa bệnh không?
Sức khỏe người bệnh ở giai đoạn bệnh di căn sẽ có chiều hướng suy giảm dần. Các phương pháp điều trị như phẫu thuật, hóa trị và xạ trị có thể gây mệt mỏi tạm thời cho bệnh nhân. Sau khi kết thúc việc xạ trị, bệnh nhân có thể hồi phục sức khỏe và phần nào cảm thấy "khoẻ hẳn ra". Nhưng cần nhớ đó không phải là dấu hiệu khỏi bệnh.
Tình trạng xuất huyết âm đạo trong ung thư cổ tử cung là do sự phát triển của bướu, đây là dấu hiệu không tốt. Bụng to và nôn nhiều có thể do sự lan rộng của tổn thương trong khoang bụng, đôi khi bệnh nhân bị báng bụng hoặc tắc ruột do bướu xâm lấn.
Thuốc FLORASTOR 50 mg không phải là thuốc trị ung thư.
